Fitness Class Descriptions

Our Group Fitness Classes are the perfect way for you to have fun, meet new people while improving your fitness. Take a look at the descriptions of the range of fitness classes available to find one that suits your needs.

Group Circuits 
This multi stationed class incorporates strength and cardio into one high impact workout. This class is designed to work all muscle groups for a full body workout at your level. Get ready to get motivated and have fun.

Every Monday 6.00pm – 6.50pm

Yoga
These energising and rejuvenating classes focus on harmonising and developing the mind, body and soul. These practices make the body strong and flexible while enhancing clarity of the mind, an ideal way to relieve stress from a hard day.

Every Wednesday 7.00pm – 8.00pm

Indoor Cycling
A structured cardiovascular workout  on a stationary bike incorporating bursts of high and low intensity cycling. A great way to stay healthy and meet new people. Min height requirement for teens 1m 40cm.

Tuesday 6.15pm – 7.00pm

Friday 5.45pm – 6.30pm

Saturday 9.30am-10.15am

Sunday 9.15am-10.00am

Zumba
Zumba® is a combination of Latin rhythms and red-hot international dance steps. You’ll learn to love working out through dance with this upbeat and exciting class! “Ditch the workout… join the party!!”

Every Monday and Wednesday 6.00pm – 7.00pm

Boxercise
This is a circuit style class that includes boxing style stations, such as focus pads, punch bag, skipping ropes, medicine ball and other general exercises. If you stick with the boxacise workout you’ll get fit and enhance muscle definition, it’s great for relieving stress too!

Every Tuesday 7.15pm – 8.15pm

Tai Chi Q Gong 
This class uses slow and flowing movements to calm the mind, body and spirit. This class is meditative and not a vigorous exercise a great stress buster.

Sunday 10.00am – 11.30am

Metafit
This 30 minute metabolic workout will push your muscles to fatigue and elevate your heart rate so that you can carry on burning calories for 24 hours after the session. The combination of body weight only exercises and high intensity intervals will set your metabolic heart rate through the roof.

Every Wednesday 6.20pm –  6.50pm

Legs, Bums & Tums 
Ideal for those people wishing to give more definition and firm up those notoriously difficult areas.  The class is a full body aerobic workout that aims to tone up them hard to reach areas. A great exercise class to tone up and keep fit.

Every Thursday 6.00pm – 6.45pm

Insanity
This is a high energy workout that combines the fundamentals of interval training with a focus on building strength, endurance, and balance. You will see noticeable results within the first few sessions as you build incredible core strength and increase your cardiovascular capacity through intense movement, resistance training, and flexibility maneuvers. Insanity sounds scary – but it’s really just an exercise routine focused on the core principles of interval training. Yes – it’s challenging, but if you’re looking to burn maximum calories and aggressively build muscle, you’ve found your match in Insanity.

Kettle fit 
Kettle fit offers a different kind of training using dynamic moves targeting almost every aspect of fitness – endurance, strength, balance, agility and cardio endurance while using a weighted ball. A fun and challenging full body workout that will add variety to your routine.

Every Thursday 6.45pm – 7.30pm

Abs blast

Abs Blast is  half hour of intense core work. Set to upbeat music, you’ll work your entire core and learn new exercises to help sculpt the body! This class is for all fitness levels, and is a great way to fit a quick but challenging workout into your busy day.

Every Wednesday 7.00-7.30pm and Friday 6.30pm-7.00pm

Step and Tone

A single step works like magic for fitness and body toning. Jump up, off and around a platform following simple routines to great sounds. Get your heart thumping, blood flowing and muscles motivated.
