ABOUT THE CENTRE

The Manor Sport and Recreation Centre is a £1.9 million indoor sports facility located in Mansfield Woodhouse, North Nottinghamshire. The Centre is based on The Manor School - Specialist Sports College site, and forms part of the school's facilities.
The Centre was funded by a £1.4 million Sport England Sports Lottery grant with the remaining finances made up from a variety of organisations and sponsors. Manor Sport and Recreation Centre comprises a four court badminton hall, small hall, a state of the art fitness suite named Spirit & Soul, changing rooms, community information area and a small kitchen. In addition there are other facilities available which include a sports barn, netball and tennis courts (two of which are floodlit) and a small gym.
The Centre was officially opened on 11 May 2002 by the then Mansfield Town Football Club Manager - Stuart Watkiss.
All of the facilities with the exception of the fitness suite are available for public use during evenings & weekends. For details of Spirit &Soul opening times contact reception.
